Ed Boon took it on Twitter to announce that Mortal Kombat XL balance patch will be released next week. The patch will be officially out on October 4. The day before that, on October 3. there will be a detailed run down of the update’s details on Kombat Kast. Here is the tweet below.

The PC version of Mortal Kombat X had lot’s of issues, with some players saying it’s unplayable. Console version, however, was warmly received and praised. Now, after a long, long time, the things will change. Alongside with this Mortal Kombat XL balance patch, the PC players are expected to receive Kombat Pack 3 as well. When it comes to Kombat Pack 3, there is still a lot of unknowns, and the release date wasn’t even teased. NetherRealm Studios obviously has other priorities working on “Injustice 2.” There are, however, suggestions from several sources that Noob Saibot, Rain, Baraka, Sindel and Fujin could be a part of the roster. We guess we will have to wait and see.
