We have already told you about Mortal Kombat XL coming to PC. The Mortal Kombat XL for PC is scheduled to be released on October 4 via Steam. PC version of XL will include both Kombat Packs, and the base game. If you missed this news, you can see the full details here. Now, Ed Boon officially announced a new Mortal Kombat X game-play balance patch via his twitter account: “MKXL players! We WILL soon release a game-play balance patch & ideally would like to target its release along with the PC launch of MKXL !!”

In a series of other tweets, he also announced that ” the PC version will get this latest game-play balancing and will be in parity with the PS4 and XBox1 versions of MKXL” and that there are plans for “a new Kombat Kast to go over in detail the changes & improvements that will be coming.”

This all points to the possibility that PC players will finally be treated equally as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers. Also, this new policy of NetherRealm studio will see Mortal Kombat expand its longevity. PC gamers will have all the new content and this decision will also attract some new players to the game.
