The race for the 9th and final spot on the Evolution Championship Series 2017 lineup is concluded. It looks like Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 fans wanted their game to be a part of the event the most, raising stunning $71,690 for Make-a-Wish International. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 fought a hard battle with Pokkén Tournament who came up short raising $66,906. Pokkén Tournament had a higher donation amount per person when compared to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. 744 donors averaged to $82.93 per donation while the donors for UMvC3, 1,487, averaged $48.21 per donation.However this is still unofficial, since everything needs to be rechecked and people from EVO don’t want to jump to announcing the winner immediately.

Effort of Pokkén Tournament fans will be awarded with EVO making a contribution of $10,000 in order to support the game’s tournaments.
