Not long ago, with the announcement of the upcoming Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite, it was revealed that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 would be hitting the PS4, Xbox One and PC in short order. Whereas the Playstation got the game the day it was announced, the Xbox One and PC versions would be released later, at some point in 2017. So the wait began, the already relatively marginalized fighting game communities on the Xbox One and PC respectively had to hold their breath and sit on their hands for any word about when this critically acclaimed title would be theirs to play, while the Playstation crowd got their hands on it, and a month and a half or so to enjoy it.
Today however, Capcom broke the silence about when the game would be coming to these two platforms, scheduling a release for March 7th, less than two months away. The game will be released for 25$ digitally and will have a physical release for both the Playstation and Xbox systems. The physical copies will feature updated cover are and a comic that detail the events that lead up to the story of the game, something collectors will likely be more than happy to have.
The physical copy will be five dollars more (More than worth the price for the extra content, in this writers opinion) at thirty dollars, but no matter whether you purchase it digitally or physically you’re guaranteed to get your moneys worth, with one of the most popular and longest enduring fighting games of any generation and all the DLC to come with it.
