While rumors were flying left and right regarding a potential sequel to Capcom Vs series, Marvel Vs Capcom, few believed it that such title would be in development, especially since Marvel has removed their gaming licenses from Capcom and every other publisher out there. It turns out the rumors were true as Capcom has announced today, at the Sony Playstation Experience event, Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite. The title which is coming to all major consoles next fall will pit Marvel’s finest characters against those form Capcom in a 2 vs 2 style matches.

The only character announced so far for Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite are Ryu, Mega Man, Iron-Man, Captain America, and Captain Marvel. capcom is promising a massive cinematic story mode, an arcade mode, as well lobbies among other yet to be announced gameplay modes. Another “Marvelous” news (Pun intended) was also revealed today announcing that Marvel Vs Capcom 3 will be released on the Playstation 4 today with updated graphics and 60fps gameplay. MVC3 will also be coming to Xbox One and Pc in March. The game will come with all previously released DLC. Check out the trailer for the MVC3 re-release below:
