For all of you who don’t think Ed Boon is a trustworthy guy, Warner Bros. And NetherRealm Studios stepped up and confirmed the Injustice 2 release date that Ed published on his Twitter profile yesterday.

This comes after Ed Boon went on Twitter himself and revealed the date. It was a real “drama” happening these days when it comes to Injustice 2 release date. First, it was thought that the date will be in March, 2017 since there was an option on Xbox Live to pre-order Injustice 2 with this release date. Then, the Ed Boon denied this on Twitter and we again didn’t have anything solid. Now, let’s hope all the mystery is done and we can finally enjoy in knowing that the game will be released in May.
When it comes to the game itself, we already know other exciting thing. Lots of new characters will be included, probably featuring Spawn and Watchmen. PC players won’t be left behind, since the game will also be available to them. Knowing the policy of big studios, there is a probability that the game will be released first for consoles and then a bit later for PC.
For all those who were impatient, Warner Bros. in collaboration with IGN released a gameplay video featuring Supergirl. If you didn’t manage to catch it, here it is below.
